The 3rd annual meeting of the Omni-Path User Group will be held at the One Intel Station venue (Union Station- 400 S Houston St, Dallas, TX 75202, just 2 blocks from the Dallas Convention Center) on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 5 pm Central time. Session leaders will be Richard Underwood, High Performance Computing System Administrator at Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center and Philip Murphy, Omni-Path Architect at Intel Corporation.

IXPUG Annual Fall Conference


Co-Organized by Sandia National Laboratories & Los Alamos National Laboratory September 25-28, 2018 Oregon, US

The Intel eXtreme Performance Users Group (IXPUG) is an active community led forum for sharing industry best practices, techniques, tools, etc. for maximizing efficiency on Intel platforms and products. This meeting will focus on all aspects of employing, adopting many-core processing technologies and techniques for optimal application execution.

A Birds of a Feather OPUG event will be held on Tuesday, July 24 from 5-6 pm at Kings Garden 1
The goal of this BoF is to provide a forum for users and other interested parties to share their experiences and insights using the Omni-Path interconnect fabric from Intel. The format will consist of an introduction, an Omni-Path product update on the hardware, new software features, important IFS updates, and more, followed by panel presentations from sites who have Omni-Path installations, and group discussion, targeting 50% of the time to the short presentations and 50% to audience engagement.



Held a successful OPUG Birds of a Feather panel discussion on Weds, June 27th

The 2nd annual meeting of the Omni-Path User Group was held at a Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) session at SC17 on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Session leaders were J Ray Scott, Senior Director of Facilities Technology at PSC and Philip Murphy, architect within the DCG Connectivity Group at Intel Corporation.

The BoF consisted of an introduction, an OPA update from Philip Murphy, brief panel presentations from OPA site representatives, and a group discussion.
